Our Datacenter
Colostore’s datacenter located in Royal Oak, Michigan is close to one of the busiest network peering points in the United States. – Power: In the event of a power failure Colostore relies on its onsite diesel generator backup system. It is designed to provide emergency backup power in the event of a power failure and sustain the datacenter with power for the duration of a power failure. Our uninterruptible power supplies ensure power is conditioned and there are no interruptions of power. These systems are actively monitored and tested regularly to ensure maximum reliability for our datacenter customers.
– Security is of major concern in a datacenter and at Colostore we make sure our client’s equipment is safe and secure. Through 24 hour monitoring and motion sensing surveillance our onsite staff are able to keep close watch on all activities in and around the datacenter. Access to the datacenter is controlled via key card and biometric access to the data center floor. Our Employees are screened, and background checked to ensure your equipment is in good hands.
